.The progress of a community greatly lies on its people. Education empowers people to become productive members of the community. It is a sad reality though that there a lot of deserving students who are not able to pursue their college education because of constraints; many of which financial.

CRANE responds to this reality through the CRANE Scholarship Program, a scholarship grant for incoming first year Caramoanon college students.

Who are eligible?
The CRANE Scholarship Program is open to incoming first year college students. The applicant must have a general average of at least 85%. Parents need not be CRANE members but must be a native of Caramoan.

What is inclusive of the scholarship?
CRANE will provide free tuition fees to its scholar. Other school fees and incidental expenses such as board and lodging, books and other expenses shall be shouldered by the parents.
CRANE will only fund specific courses that will most likely lead to immediate employment. Courses which are too expensive such as Nursing will not be part of the scholarship

What are the scholarship agreements?
Once qualified the scholar must not have a failing grade in any subject. He or she should not be involved in a crime or an act involving moral turpitude and should not use prohibited drugs. The behavior of the scholar will be continuously monitored by the CRANE Scholarship Committee.

Funding
The CRANE Scholarship Program is funded by fund raising activities, contributions from organization members, and donations from Caramoanons living abroad.
