TO HALL OF FAME – Congressman Luis R. Villafuerte was elevated to the Hall of Fame of the Congress Magazine and the Philippine Institute of Leadership in a ceremony at the Manila Hotel February 20, 2008 after having received for three successive years the Most Outstanding Congressman Award for 2005, 2006 and 2007. Conferring on him the award is well-known economist and columnist Hilarion Henares. On March 7, Congressman Villafuerte also received the government service award from the Filipino-American Visionary Awards based in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. |
