Senator Panfilo Lacson at the Senate investigation on the ZTE scandal in his rejoinder to Senator Juan Ponce Enrile who said he was biased: “We are biased for the truth”.

Will Senator Lacson now tell us the truth on who ordered the killing of Bicolano Bubby Dacer?

For those who have lost track of the 8-year old unsolved bubby dacer murder case the principal suspects were former P/chief Supts. Michael Ray Aquino and Cesar Mancao and P/Supts. Glenn Dumlao and Teofilo Viña. Lacson was their boss at the time.

Fr. Elmer Saludares, parish priest of Barangay Malasin, Dupax del Norte, Nueva Viscaya was charged last month with unjust vexation for kissing and biting the lips of a GRO.

To be kissed is normal for a GRO.

But no GRO would want to lose her lips even to a priest lest she would also lose all her customers.

Albay DSWD reported that it had dispersed P7 million, repeat P7 million, worth of relief goods after a small flood last week of February (PDI-March 1, 2008).

When Cory Aquino was President then soldier Gringo Honasan led several coup attempts against her government. In one of those coup attempts Cory was reported by the late columnist Louie Beltran to have hidden under her bed. Furious, she filed a libel case which didn’t prosper.

Cory must be angry that GMA is not hiding under her bed.

Fr. Bel R. San Luis, SVD, in his February 27, 2008 column in the Manila bulletin wrote: “Prayer rallies or political rallies? holy or unholy Masses? Many prayer rallies and Masses these days have taken a different meaning. They have become fora and launching pads for political attacks under the guise of religions activities.

The question is: how can they be religious when their hidden agenda is notivated by hatred and mob rule?”

Masbate Gov. Elisa Kho and Sorsogon Gov. Sally Lee have few things in common.

Both are first woman governor of their respective provinces.

Both took over from their husbands’ posts: Gov. Kho from former Gov. Antonio Kho who is now Congressman of the Second District of Masbate and Gov. Lee from former Gov. Raul Lee who completed his three successive terms as governor last year.

Both are professionals: Gov. Kho is a doctor of medicine who was provincial health officer of Masbate before she directly plunged into politics while Gov. Lee is a CPA. She had, however, already served as mayor of Sorsogon City before she ran for governor last year.
