Milestone in October

For PENINSULA MONITOR publisher-editor, Dominador Alarkon, Jr. October 23 is always a red-letter day but this year it was doubly significant as it would have marked his retirement from government service had he not opted to retire early on February 2, 2005 due to some health problems. And a memorable, joyous evening it was to renew kinship and friendship with scores of acquaintances from Naga City and hometown Caramoan. It was also a fitting prelude to the end of the term of the celebrator next month as CRANE president.
