Pancho Piano, 4 others confirm art exhibit sked


Outrigger boat sails will be painted by renowned artists at Gota Beach as one of the exciting features of Balik Caramoan 2007
Noted artist Pancho Piano confirmed this week he and four other artists will definitely put up their art exhibit in Caramoan, Camarine Sur as one of the features of Balik Caramoan 2007 from May 1 which will culminate with the Caramoan town fiesta on May 7 and 8.

The Bicolano artist from Mangogon, Lagonoy who is regarded as one of the best stained glass artists and mural painters in the country today said that his group will include Ernie Patricio, Bing Sioche, Jun Tanyang and Vic Din.

Aside from putting up exhibits of their works at the town patio, the artists will do on-the-spot paintings on sails of outrigger boats at Gota Beach on May 4. They may also do on-the-spot paintings of anyone interested to test their capability.

Meanwhile, Pancho revealed that he will have his next art exhibit in Brazil on June 12 from whence he will hold more exhibits in the United States. Last November he had a solo exhibit in New York, one of several international exposures of the Bicolano artist who has gone around the world to showcase his talent.

Ernie Patriao and Ben Siochi are among artists arriving in Caramoan for Balik Caramoan 2007.
