But he doesn’t look decent tugging at millionaire ex-convict Mark Jimenez wherever he goes, obviously begging for campaign funds.

“Hulog ng Langit”, that is what they call Mark Jimenez’ assistance to the public, a publicity stunt dispensed with so much funfare to cover up for his misdeeds, the latest being severely beating up his wife.
Some jested that Jimenez also has a corollary program called “Mga Ihinulog ng Langit”, referring to those he gave little or nothing after he disliked those devoid of self- respect and who kept following him.

Mark Jimenez is an astute businessman. he won’t just part away with hard-earned money, or money earned at the risk of his own life for misplaced politicians whose chances of winning are next to nil.

All of Mayor Jesse Robredo’s heartaches he poured out to INQUIRER columnist Solita Monsod who promptly extolled Robredo in her column on April 14, 2007. Monsod typifies the misinformed Manila-based media who think Robredo is one saint being harassed, not at all knowing the it is Robredo who has been terrorizing Nagueños like teachers who didn’t like his intrusions in DepEd affairs, and urban poor who are unable to pay their amortizations on time. Monsod doesn’t also know that Robredo is facing so many criminal and administrative cases, disposition of which may have been delayed only because of his connections. Monsod always talks so much and does so little. The economy of the country was at its lowest ebb when she was the economic planning secretary.

Monsod had in fact only revealed her total ignorance of the situation here when she said the transfer of the Naga City Schools Superintendent could lead to wholesale cheating. Who has been suspected of cheating in Naga City if not Robredo? Remember former City Councilor Fiel Rosales, a Robredo ally, who spilled the beans after losing his bid for vice mayor in 1988 against Esteban Abonal whom Robredo supported?
In the Sangguniang Panglungsod he exposed the massive cheating techniques employed by Robredo’s henchmen, including ballot switching done with some teachers as accomplices.
