Peace in the name of the Lord!
I want to express my appreciation for the invitation extended to me by the officers and members of CRANE. It is indeed a great honor for me to be invited to come back home, especially during this time of the year (Fiesta 2007) when we all cherish the coming home of relatives and friends to enjoy the company of all Caramoanons and feel the Caramoanon hospitality and brotherhood once again. Indeed, this venture of yours deserve commendation and applause, and I salute you all for all the undertakings that you have done and wish to do in the future for the benefit of Caramoan and of our fellow Caramoanons.
As a Caramoanon myself, I am proud to be one and proud of your unselfish intentions to make our beloved town Caramoan a place where everybody can stay, work and enjoy its natural beauty beyond compare. Being in the Carribean which all say is “The playground of the rich and famous” because of its lush vegetation and clear sea waters and white beaches, I can say that we have our own Caramoan which we can call the “Nature Peninsula” of Camarines Sur if not of the Bicol region.
We have a lot to offer to the world not only the natural beauty of our land but also our culture, our history, our own literature and much more our own kababayans who excel in their own fields of endeavour, whether it be in spirituality, education, politics, economics, medicine, arts and entertainments to name a few. This is just the beginning of the glorious days ahead of us Caramoans.
