OIC DENR regional director san Juan should watch his steps in the case of Camarines Sur acting PENRO Rodolfo Matusalem who was not been reassigned even after the CSC has disapproved his appointment and who has been allowed to stay on in his post even when his appointment expired on May 11, 2005.

He should not be deaf to the complaints of employees under Matusalem who have been harassed almost everyday.

DENR employees in Camarines Sur now have the support of concerned people from outside the agency who can put not only Matusalem in hot water but many key officers in the DENR regional office.

Time is running out for director San Juan to act with dispatch and propriety on the Matusalem issue.

When it was time to vote on the second impeachment case against President Arroyo several of the opposition congressmen who had demanded in stentorian voice that she should resign during the first voting did not any more say a word. One of them was Congressman Noli Fuentebella.

The intriguing, mysterious behavior appears to have been solved. A project package worth more than P170 million, mostly for regravelling projects, is now being implemented in the Third District.

Regravelling means a lot of money, you know.
