As one of the recipients of the message disseminated by Manay Este (Mrs. Celeste Ampeloquio), I am extending my great appreciation for keeping me in the loop of the upcoming Balik Caramoan 2007. It surely is going to be a lifetime memory to treasure this rare event. I am sharing my precious time to spread the words of this “Grand Celebration” through my Caramoan website and I have attached a sample flyer I designed few minutes ago, to enhance invitation to all Caramoanons. The flyer is not finalized yet until some proofing is conducted at your end to officially input and add or delete information needed to pass on. Just let me know if you so desire to make use of my talents to help expedite words around the world.

The Caramoan website I created about 10 years ago is currently live on the internet. Caramoanons or people who have roots that are craving to trace their family origin made used of it and were astonished upon knowing, that such page existed upon surfing the internet. First, belated Merry Christmas and we wish you “ALL A PROPEROUS NEW YEAR, 2007!”. After my vacation in the Philippines, attending the Bicol Penafrancia last September-October, 2006, I became very busy with my routine activities in Los Angeles, California. I have tried to give you the email addresses and other mailing locations that I know in USA and in Canada of Caramoanons through Willy Armea. Every time I am attending B-day celebrations of Caramoanons in Los Angeles, and San Diego, I always mention the Balik Caramoan Project, come May 2007. This week I was in San Diego to attend a Fiesta of Santo Nino (Lord of Pardon, Nuestro Senor Nazarino), and we had talked about the project (the San Diego people are 99.9% attending the fiesta). To my present estimate, at this time , 85-90% are responding to the CRANE’s project (although the problem on conflicting vacation schedules is still be ironed out).

We are very sorry of the difficulties that the Bicol Region had experienced in the aftermath of typhoon “Reming”. It was a wake-up call !!

I just learned from Alecs Alarcon that this year’s town fiesta (Caramoan) is sponsored by CRANE. Will you please let me know the details. I’m interested because I’m going home on the last week of April. In addition, I know some Caramoanons who live here in Illinois like Maruja Breis-Cruz of Tawog Centro, Milagros Teoxon of Tabog (adjacent to Bgy. Bahay) and Cyren Lapuz-Estrada (daughter of the late Dr. Jovenal Lapuz Sr.). I can relay this information to them.
