Mayor Francis R. Benemerito has appointed as municipal administrator Rebecca Gonzales Sancho, a law graduate with vast experience in administrative and legal management, in an effort to upgrade personnel efficiency and enhance productivity of the municipal government.
An AB and LLB graduate of the University of Nueva Caceres, Sancho who is only 35 years old has worked with four private firms before joining the government. She had worked with Manuela Corporation as personnel and legal assistant, NESIC Philippines as legal officer and as human resources consultant at Commtrend Construction Corporation, all in Manila.
She is the daughter of Marcelo Padua Sancho, Jr. and the late Maria Huit Gonzales.
She succeeds Wilfredo Rodriguez, Jr. who has joined his wife, Dir. Marlene Ca. Rodriguez, in Cebu City in her new assignment as NEDA Regional Director in the area.
The new municipal administrator is a native of Caramoan like her predecessor.
