Four residential houses have been converted to hostels and inns in Caramoan as the number of tourists continues to grow. Most prominent is La Casa Roa (left), which used to be the residence of the late Dr. Nilo O. Roa who was president of the Municipal Health Officers Association of the Philippines, which has reasonably priced air-conditioned rooms. At right is Legacy Inn owned by the Señar Family at the heart of Caramoan town proper which also has several air-conditioned rooms. Two more accommodations with air-conditioned rooms belong to Rogelio Reyes and Rex Hernandez, both in the town proper.

MISS CARAMOAN 2005
Miss Caramoan 2005 Marianne Singson Bañas might as well prolong her reign up to 2006 since no contest will be held this May to find her successor. But she deserves to stay on the pedestal longer. Other than her beauty and charm, Marianne was valedictorian in elementary and in high school and is an academic scholar now in college. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Bañas (nee Edna Singson).

Some 20 fabulous beaches and exotic islets in Caramoan considered as world-class tourism potentials await tourists this summer. Above is Honongan Beach which is near famous Gota Beach. But the more thrilling experience is island-hopping to more exciting sites on the eastern fringe of the Caramoan Peninsula facing Catanduanes and the Pacific Ocean.

CRANE INDUCTION - Thirty three officers of the CRANE for 2006-2007 led by their president, Dominador C. Alarkon, Jr. are sworn into office by Congressman Luis R. Villafuerte during the induction ceremonies on December 30, 2006 held at the Naga Central School 2 Pavilion.
